Locust Grove. We live in Saguaro Springs on the corner of E.Tuttle and N. Morpheus. It is our understanding that the Allmon subdivision will be accessed via E.Tuttle, which is in the middle of our neighborhood. We have lived at our address for 7 years, and the traffic, mostly cut-through traffic, has increased substantially, particularly during the morning, after school, and evening commutes. Both Saguaro Springs and part of Saguaro Canyon have a lot of traffic cutting through between McMillan and N. Locust Grove. Speeding has been a serious problem here, and we in fact had speed humps installed. Cut through traffic is certain to increase during the construction on Chinden and the North/South streets attached to it. In addition to the speeding vehicles that we now experience and the increased number of vehicles traveling through our neighborhood when it is finished, if the Allmon subdivision is allowed to be accessed via E.Tuttle, many of the vehicles during the construction phase of the subdivision will be contractors with pickups, trailers, and trucks, increasing the danger to the residents as well as increased noise levels; not to mention constant littering with bottles, cans, food containers, etc. being thrown out on a daily basis. If these additional residences are allowed with the only access being through these subdivisions it will be dangerous to residents and potentially to the vehicle traffic as well. The vast majority of homes in these neighborhoods have garages on the streets. Increased traffic will make backing out of our garages at the least inconvenient, but also hazardous. Please do not allow this to happen. If the Allmon subdivision is built it must require its own entrance to and from Locust Grove. Respectfully submitted, Jim and Cathy Sears 5764 N. Morpheus Way Meridian, ID 83646 (307) 337-8976
