2020-02-17 Dean And Renee Hanson Charlene Way From: Rsh88 <rsh88@aol.com> Sent: Monday, February 17, 2020 1:19 PM To: City Clerk Subject: Public Hearing Allmon Subdivision (H-2019-0135) February 20 6pm City Clerk This letter is in regards to the proposed Allmon Subdivision (H-2019-0135). Located: 5885 & 5875 N Locust Grove Rd. Preferred use for this area would be open space or a community park. If that is not possible and homes are to be built we request that the proposed Allmon subdivision be required to have an entrance exiting off/entering onto N Locust Grove Rd. There are three entrances there at present. The builder of course wants to close off these entrances to allow for more homes. Our concern is the added traffic the new subdivision will add on Tuttle St. A traffic study done by ACHD several years back determined traffic was reaching 300 cars an hour at peak hours on Tuttle St. Since then there has been more housing added all around the Saguaro Springs subdivision and traffic has been increasing monthly. Requiring the proposed Allmon Sudivision to have an entrance to/from N Locust Grove is a more direct route for emergency responders. It will also help by not adding to the existing traffic congestion on Tuttle St. Thank you Dean and Renee Hanson 1435 E Tuttle St Meridian ID 83646 i
