NOTICE OF HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to the Ordinances of
the City of Meridian and the Laws of the State of Idaho that
the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Meridi-
an will hold a public hearing at the Meridian City Hall,33 East
Broadway Avenue, Meridian, Idaho, at the hour of 6:00 p.m.
on Thursday, March 5,2020 for the purpose of reviewing and
considering the applications of:
Ryan Recla for a Preliminary Plat consisting of 10 build-
ing lots and 5 common lots on 7.35 acres of land in the R-4
zoning district for Bannock Ridge (H-2019-0143), located at
2940 S. Mesa Way.
Martin L. Hill, Hill & Hill Properties for a Rezone of a to-
tal of 39.9 acres of land from the R-8 zoning district to the C-
N (4.9 acres), C-C (4.35 acres), and R-15 (30.65 acres)zon-
ing districts; a Preliminary Plat consisting of 137 building
lots, 18 common lots and 10 other lots on 43.02 acres of land
in the R-8, R-15, C-N and C-C zoning districts; a Planned
Unit Development for an age-restricted 55 and older gated
community with deviations from certain development stan-
dards; and a Conditional Use Permit for a 73,730 square
foot, 443-unit self-service storage facility on 3.89 acres of
land in the C-C zoning district for Hill's Century Farm North
(H-2019-0134), located at the southeast corner of S. Eagle
Rd. and E.Amity Rd.
Sawtooth Development Group, LLC for Annexation of
16.99 acres of land with TN-R zoning with a conceptual de-
velopment plan for a senior(age 55 and older)living commu-
nity consisting of(76)single-family dwelling units and a 3-sto-
ry apartment building with 88 dwelling units and a building
footprint of 30,000 square feet for Andorra Senior Living
(H-2019-0127), located at 715&955 S.Wells St. and 971 E.
Wells Circle.
Copies of the above applications are available for review
upon request. Any interested persons wishing to testify are
welcome to do so at the public hearing listed on this notifica-
tion. Oral testimony may be limited to 3 minutes per person.
Written testimony may be submitted prior to the hearing date
either by mail or in person to Meridian City Clerk, 33 E.
Broadway, Suite 104, Meridian, Idaho 83642, by email to
cityclerk@meridiancity.orq, by voicemail at 208-288-5607, or
by texting the word "Comment" to 31996. All testimony and
materials received or presented become property of the City
of Meridian and public records subject to the provisions of the
Idaho Public Records Act. Applications are subject to change
throughout the public hearing process, and it is incumbent on
interested persons to monitor such changes by following the
process in person, online,or by contacting City staff.
