Subject: Feedback on proposed increase of homes in Graycliff development
Hi,
I don't know where to direct this email, so if you would please forward it to the proper department, I would appreciate
it.
I wanted to give feedback on developer's request to add more homes to the Graycliff subdivision on McMillan and
Linder. Please DO NOT allow this increase. There is already too much existing traffic on McMillan and the schools are
over crowded as it is. Now that Chinden is being widened, McMillan is often just a parking lot, and my street Laughton
becomes a speedway for people looking to bypass the traffic. Impact fees are too low to support all the development in
Meridian.
I live in Paramount and I'm going to guess when Brighton developed the neighborhood, they were allowed to increase
the number of homes after the start of development. That is the only reason I can see why I and many many of my
neighbors have our sewer lines directly under our driveways. It certainly doesn't make sense from a design or
maintenance perspective. If anything goes wrong with the sewer line, I would have to pay for my driveway to be torn up
and replaced.
Please, we need some control on the over expansion of subdivisions in Meridian!
Thank you,
Jennifer Pedrali
