A great big Thank you!!! Listed below are a few concerns regarding the application for Sky Mesa Highlands 1) A large portion of the open space is in unusable slope areas. Because steep slopes like this are not usable open space, we respectfully suggest such not be used in the developer's calculation of open space. This application is for 75 homes many of which do not have a large enough backyard to play catch or kick a soccer ball. Green space adequate for recreational activities like playing catch, kicking a soccer ball, hosting a block party, or similar uses that enhance a neighborhood's livability and builds community attachment would be appreciated. 2) Another concern is with the native grasses on the slope between the homes( lot 14). Who would be responsible for trimming and weed prevention? This could be a fire hazard if not properly maintained and the neighborhood is in an area with less than desirable fire response times. 3) Bordering on the south end of the development are several large newer estate size homes. Please consider these neighbors and protect their view sheds and property values by requiring single story homes where necessary. On a positive note excited to see the emergency exits and connectivity to rest of Sky Mesa. Thank you for your consideration! The Southern Rim Coalition Sent from Mail for Windows 10 2
