Dear Bill:
As you know, this firm represents the applicant for the above‐referenced application. We write with a
brief update regarding the area of impact discussions involving this application.
Per the request and direction of Meridian City P&Z and staff, we worked with Boise City to bring the
area of impact question before the Boise City Council on October 8, 2019. Per the attached resolution,
Boise City supports this project moving forward in Meridian. Boise City recognizes that Meridian has the
capacity to serve this property and has planned for these parcels, with sewer and water connections on
the north and south boundaries of the property.
We have also reviewed the Boise City memorandum forwarded last week with the approval resolution.
We appreciate the encouragement by Boise City to ensure that cross‐access is provided to the parcel to
the east of the proposed multi‐family area of the project. As you know, our site design already provides
for this cross access. We would be happy to include this requirement as a condition of approval.

(RES -521-19) to amendment to the land use map of Blueprint Boise to transfer
approximately 4.15 acres of property located at 14120 W Jasmine Lane from the City of
Boise Area of City Impact to the City of Meridian Area of City Impact.
