By law, no decisions can be made on topics presented under this public comment section, other than the City Council may request that the topic be added to a future meeting agenda for a more detailed discussion or action. Resolution No. 20-2185: A Resolution of the Mayor and the City Council of the City of Meridian Reappointing Lisa Holland to Seat 5 and William 'Bill' Cassinelli to Seat 6 of the Meridian Planning & Zoning Commission; and Appointing Patricia Pitzer to Seat 4 and Appointing Nick Grove to Seat 7 of the Meridian Planning & Zoning Commission; and Providing an Effective Date [Action Item] C. City Council Discussion: Investor-Owned Rental Subdivisions Tentatively Rescheduled to January 28, 2020 8. Action Items Public Hearings for Land Use Applications follow this process: Once the Public Hearing is opened, City staff will present their report. Following the report, the applicant is allowed up to 15 minutes to present their application. Members of the public are allowed up to 3 minutes each to address council regarding the application. If a person is representing a large group such as a Homeowner's Association, indicated by a show of hands, they may be allowed up to 10 minutes. Following all public testimony, the applicant is then allowed 10 additional minutes to respond to comments. Once the public hearing is closed, no additional testimony will be received. The City Council may move to continue the item for additional information or vote to approve or deny the item with or without changes as presented. The Mayor is not a member of the City Council and pursuant to Idaho Code does not vote on public hearing items, unless to break a tie vote. A.
