This area is already heavily saturated with apartments, townhomes, and new business developments (Storage Units, Costco and Winco). The Kelly Creek and Lochsa Falls subdivisions get huge amounts of non-neighborhood traffic flowing through Goddard Creek Way (exceeding the speed limit) to Cayuse Creek Dr. and Long Lake Way as a shortcut to bypass traffic on Linder and Ten Mile. Adding 44 new townhomes to the corner of Goddard Creek Way and McMillan will compound this problem. As a note, ACHD report for this project does not includes an accurate traffic flow count. They used numbers that reflect traffic flows west of Ten Mile on McMillan. This project is East of Ten Mile on McMillan. The West Ada School District has already stated that they do not recommend adding these townhomes due to current overcrowding at the elementary through high school level schools located in the area. The proposed plan also does not account for or take into consideration that the majority of households have on average 2 cars and there will be no street parking available for residents of these proposed townhomes other than their driveways or garage. There is no “overflow” parking available like there is at the Selway apartments and even now, Selway apartment residents use Kelly Creek neighborhood streets for overflow. This has caused additional trash, noise, and crime in the area. I strongly urge and request that this project not be approved. Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter. Respectfully, Chris Wilson Kelly Creek Resident
