Letter in support of Edington Commons
To whom it may concern:
I am writing this letter in approval of the proposed Edington Commons Subdivision located at: 3810 N
Linder Road Meridian, ID.
After almost 2 years and countless hours of researching Builders, Communities, and available homes
within this high demand housing market, we are eagerly awaiting closing on our first home in the Verado
Neighborhood located in Meridian, ID. I absolutely support the newly proposed Edington Commons
neighborhood for numerous reasons, based on my own experience at the Verado Community.
• The builder, Blackrock Homes, is a very trusted builder that produces high quality craftsmanship —you
can see the differences in their product when compared to other builders within the community. Their
homes offer high level of finishes for a fraction of the typical cost of other new home construction
within the area; our first home will be a long-term home for us.
• The communities that they build are just lovely, quiet & peaceful, thoughtfully designed with walking
paths, playgrounds, neighborhood parks that bring the residents together and beautiful landscaping;
not to mention a location that can't be beat! Although I have not moved in yet, I frequently visit the
neighborhood and actually spent our Halloween trick or treating with my kiddo in the community!
• The low maintenance features of their homes are incredible with the HOA taking care of the front and
back yard maintenance at a very reasonable cost, beautiful interior finishes, vinyl siding, full
landscaping and fencing included (which was a huge deciding factor for us and a cost saver), upgraded
interior flooring built to last as well as upgraded carpet.
• The cost was also a huge deciding factor. It's a tough market, and to be able to find a home with low
maintenance features and the high-end interior finishes we were seeking at a cost that was obtainable
for us, made it an easy decision. We are so thankful that we found this neighborhood!
Again, I absolutely support the new Edington Commons Neighborhood from Blackrock homes, and I know
that our community could benefit from more neighborhoods such as the one at Verado.
