Sonya,
Yes, I would like to have my email submitted as public testimony for a postponement of H-2019-0068 do to the following
reason:
Each year the Meridian School district has an annual parent teacher conference scheduled with both parents to discuss
each child's progress and development any strengths or weaknesses the child may have and a plan for that child. This
year the date for the parent teacher conference is scheduled for October 24th in the early evening asking for one or both
parents to attend depending on each household. This date is not flexible and had been scheduled well in advance. This is
an important step for our children's development and parents can not be in 2 places at once. This is a huge part of a
child's welfare and informative to parents to help their children excel.
Since Northside Management still hasn't had a meeting with the Kelly Creek homeowners or even given adaque notice to
the homeowners we are requesting a postponement to 11/7/19 or later after giving Mr. Noriyuka of Northside
management plenty of time to follow the do process required by the application process.
Thank you

Hi Pam,
Thank you for your email, would you like it to be included in the project file as public testimony?
On Oct. 3 rd , the Planning & Zoning Commission approved the Applicant’s request to continue
the project to the Oct. 24 th meeting. If I forward your comments to the Commission as public
testimony they may feel it’s appropriate to continue the project to a later date or they may
choose to go ahead and hear the project that night. I would suggest you submit a letter of
testimony with any concerns you have for their consideration in the case they decide to hear the
project that night and you’re unable to attend.
Thanks,
Sonya

Sonya,
The residence of Kelly Creek had scheduled time to attend the 10-3-19 6:00 pm planning and zoning meeting. As of
2:23 pm on 10-03-19 it was noted on the planning and zoning public hearing schedule that the meeting was
postponed until 10-24-19 do to the applicants lack of required documents.
We are asking that the public meeting be rescheduled for 11/7/2019 because of the following:
October 24th is parent-teacher conference night for the City of Meridian school district and parents can not be in two
places at once and many of the residence want to attend the postponed public hearing meeting. After speaking with
Scott Noriyuki of Northside Management he expressed that he would like to meet with residence at least 10 days
prior to the planning and zoning hearing..As you know this is required per the cities application process to notify
and/or meet with homeowners that live within the 300' radius and within 3 months prior to the public hearing which
has not yet taken place as of yet. Scott also thanked me after reading my public comment regarding the incorrect
date and time on the planning and zoning sign or that would have never been corrected in time.
Many residence within the 300' radius never received a postcard from the city regarding that there was a hearing on
10-3-19 our management company/hoa never received any notices of any kind from anyone. Scott sent out a letter
and scheduled a meeting on 8-12-19 @ 6 pm at the MPD to meet with homeowners of Kelly Creek. Scott never
showed up for the meeting or bothered to tell anyone the meeting was cancelled. There were also signs placed on the
property in question that there was a public hearing scheduled for 8-15-19 at 6:00 pm. When I asked Scott why he
didn't bother to show up or let anyone know the meeting was cancelled Scott said the project was dead however after
speaking with Bill Parsons the applicant never submitted a completed application to P&Z.
I received postcard on September 23rd from the city stating that there would be a public hearing on 10-3-19. I
personally never received anything else and the only notification that was given to homeowners regarding a meeting
with Kelly Creek residence was on 10-3-19 at 2:33 pm that Scott would meet with homeowners at 4:30 pm prior to
the public hearing at 6:00 pm that same day. That being said there was complete lack of notification to homeowners
of Kelly Creek to discuss the project.
I hope this rescheduling can be resolved to allow the residence of Kelly Creek to be heard.
Thank you for your time and a response would be appreciated.
