Dear Sir or Madam,
I would like to publicly comment on yet ANOTHER change to the zoning ordinance, this one specifically on McMillan
Road and Goddard Creek Way.
I see that yet another developer is asking to change the zoning, which has already been approved for office space, to
build more apartments/townhomes. When will this nonsense end?! Does the city of Meridian have any backbone at
all?! Our schools are already bursting at the seems, traffic is horrific yet we are entertaining the idea of more
townhomes? Please, please use some common sense for once and get this thrown out. No more. I’ve absolutely had it
with the city council and mayors office constantly playing “footsie” with these developers.
I’m not against growth or development, just in the right places. Lets fix and build our infrastructure first, then we can
talk about more apartments (or put more up by vacant land by the freeway, not in the middle of single occupied
houses).
