Subject:Delano proposed subdivision
Honorable Mayor and City Council,
We live in beautiful Alpine Point. We built our home in 2010.
We strongly oppose the current proposed Delano subdivision. We have been advised it and adjoining
apartment complexes make that area one of the highest population density areas in all of Meridian City. We
have also been advised that the proposed car access through Alpine Point could add approximately 1000 cars
or trips through our established community per day.
Given the traffic we already experience, just getting out onto Eagle Road, we can't reiterate the impact this
would have on our subdivision and the safety of those living here.
This project plus the 200 units already built in the Brickyard complex plus the pending or future sale of other
adjoining properties will drastically affect our lives.
Please consider the modifications that our Alpine Point HOA is preparing for safe and intelligent growth in the
area adjoining Alpine Point.
