BY THE CITY COUNCIL: BERNT, BORTON, CAVENER,
MILAM, PALMER, LITTLE ROBERTS
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MERIDIAN, APPOINTING GINNI (VIRGINIA) HALE TO SEAT 3 OF THE MERIDIAN
ARTS COMMISSION; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Meridian City Code § 2-1-1 establishes the Meridian Arts Commission,
its members and terms of their appointments; and
WHEREAS, Seat 3 of the Meridian Arts Commission is currently vacant; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council of the City of Meridian deem the appointment of
Ginni (Virginia) Hale to Seat 3 of the Meridian Arts Commission to be in the best interest of the
Meridian Arts Commission and of the City of Meridian;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN CITY, IDAHO:
Section 1. That pursuant to Meridian City Code § 2-1-1 Ginni (Virginia) Hale is appointed
to Seat 3 of the Meridian Arts Commission, for a term to expire February 28, 2021.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its
adoption and approval.
