I live on Rosepoint Avenue which already is a cut-through street for many drivers attempting to access McMillan Road and sub-divisions beyond in their efforts to avoid the already congested Eagle Road. The speed limit is posted at 20mph but those using the road destined for McMillan are racing through many times at 35-45 mph. Roughly half of the Alpine Pointe residents own RV rigs and are constantly moving them in and out of their garage which further constricts the traffic flow. Cut-through traffic is already a problem for our sub-division. If the Delano project comes online, it will open up Dashwood Pl which can only exacerbate the traffic flow through our subdivision. Compound this with the eventual future opening of Rogue River Street and the additional school bus/commuter traffic will only worsen the situation. I respectfully ask that you consider a vote to decline the Delano sub-division & apartment project at the upcoming August 20, 2019 City Council meeting. Thank you for your time.
