BY THE CITY COUNCIL: BERNT, BORTON, CAVENER,
LITTLE ROBERTS MILAM, PALMER
A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE COMPLIANCE ENGINE ADMINISTRATION FEE;
AUTHORIZING THE FIRE DEPARTMENT TO COLLECT SUCH FEES; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Meridian Fire Department provides administrative services related to
inspections tracked by The Compliance Engine, for which it is appropriate to institute a fee for
the provision of such services; and
WHEREAS, following publication of notice in the Meridian Press on June 14, 2019 and
June 21, 2019, according to the requirements of Idaho Code section 63-1311A, on June 25, 2019,
the City Council of Meridian held a hearing on the adoption of a proposed new fee for these
services provided by the Meridian Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, following such hearing, the City Council, by formal motion, did approve
said proposed new and updated fees;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN CITY, IDAHO:
Section 1. That a new fee shall be adopted, The Compliance Engine administration fee, in the amount
of $13.05.
Section 2. That the Meridian Fire Department is hereby authorized to implement and
carry out the collection of said fees.

Section 3. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Meridian, Idaho, this 2 day of June
