BY THE CITY COUNCIL: BERNT, BORTON, CAVENER,
MILAM, PALMER, LITTLE ROBERTS
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MERIDIAN APPOINTING JENNIFER BOBO TO SEAT 2 OF THE MERIDIAN
PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the Meridian City Code 2-1-1 establishes the Meridian Parks and
Recreation Commission, its members and terms of their appointments; and
WHEREAS, Seat 2 of the Meridian Parks and Recreation Commission is currently
vacant; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Meridian deems the appointment of Jennifer
Bobo to Seat 2 of the Meridian Parks and Recreation Commission to be in the best interest of the
Meridian Parks and Recreation Commission and of the City of Meridian;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN CITY, IDAHO:
Section 1. That pursuant to Meridian City Code § 2-1-1, Jennifer Bobo is hereby
appointed to Seat 2 of the Meridian Parks and Recreation Commission, for a term to expire
October 31, 2019.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its
adoption and approval.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Meridian, Idaho, this ke day of June,
2019.
