Mirror Creek Place Dear Mr. McGrath: The Fence Variance Committee of the City of Meridian met in your presence at 4:30 P.M., May 11, 1998, in City Hall to consider this request. After due consideration, the Committee decided to allow this variance request to construct a six (6) foot tall wooden fence in your side street setback area subJect to the following: 1. The east end face of the fence shall be set 13-14 feet from the yard edge of sidewalk along W. Spruce Creek St. Extend the line of the fence west to the 4 th stake you have in the ground, which is 10 feet from the sidewalk edge. Continue the fence at 10 feet from sidewalk to your west boundary. 2. The ground area between the fence and sidewalk shall be landscaped and maintained by you. 3. The board side of the fence shall face out toward the street(s). 4. The City of Meridian has no jurisdiction in the enforcement of the provisions of your subdivisions Protective Covenants. Since this is a variance to a provision of your covenants we suggest you also contact your Homeowners Association for their approval. 5. Please obtain a fence building permit from the City Building Department prior to beginning construction. Thank you for complying with the City ordinance in requesting this variance.
