A. National Register Nominations
1. Base Budget for FY20
H. Blackstone informed present commissioners that their Fiscal year
2020 budget won't be increased and that they will need to re-
evaluate their line item allocations to accommodate a potential
National Register Nomination.
2. Prioritize Current Potential Properties
H. Blackstone asked commissioners to consider how they would
individually prioritize properties to nominate so that the commission
could determine the priority list at their next meeting.
B. Neighborhood Conservation Overlay Districts

C. Preservation Idaho Nomination
H. Blackstone updated the commission that the nomination will be mailed
tomorrow.
D. Property Photo Use
H. Blackstone is updating the walking tour app with the recent property
photos that HPC has taken.
E. Comprehensive Plan Update Report
H. Blackstone updated the commission that when she has a draft
of the Comprehensive Plan chapter that contains their
content/policies she will share that chapter with them for their
review/input. As far as she knows, no policies have been
removed that impact the commission. Comments from
commissioners can be added with track changed and then sent
back to her.
F. Children's Museum of Idaho
J. Nary updated that March 16th was the opening of the outdoor
exhibits, including the cabin that HPC helped to bring to the museum.
G. Ada County Historic Preservation Council Report
H. Blackstone attached the recent minutes from Ada County Historic
Preservation Council and will continue to include those in HPC packets
for commissioners to reference.

B. OpenGov Financial Report
H. Blackstone shared the OpenGov report with commissioners; she will
have commissioners approve expenses next month.
C. Comprehensive Plan Update Report
H. Blackstone provided a brief update from the recent Steering
Committee meeting. J. Ault attended the Fields meeting and reported
on that. J. Ault reported that a cemetery will be impacted by the
discussed zoning plan options.
D. National Register Nominations
B. Johnston shared that Firebird was just added to the National
Register. He and J. Evarts met to discuss their next steps for
reaching out to property owners. L. Hill offered that she and
Keith Bird had collected a lot of background history and material
related to the Meridian Speedway.
E. Children's Museum of Idaho
J. Nary provided a report and added that board positions would be
opened up soon, so if any commissioners are interested in serving on
the board, please contact J. Nary for more information.
F. Neighborhood Conservation Overlay Districts
J. Evarts had presented this concept to Meridian Development
Corporation, the next step would be reaching out to the downtown
business association.
