Summary of Request: The Planning Department requests approval to amend the text of ce ain sections of the UDC to include
general clarifications/clean-up items; standards for pathway lighting along the Eagle Road conidor; allowance; and a change to
the outdoor lighting standards which would exempt light fixtures with a maximum output of less than 1,800 lumens from the
outdoor lighting regulations. All of the proposed amendments are outlined in Section Vll of the staff report.
Purpose: The purpse of the proposed amendments is to make implementation and use of the UDC more understandable and
enforceable.
