CITY OF MERIDIAN RESOLUTION NO. 19-2125
BY THE CITY COUNCIL: BERNT, BORTON, CAVENER,
MILAM, PALMER, LITTLE ROBERTS
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MERIDIAN, REAPPOINTING RHONDA MCCARVEL TO SEAT 1 AND
APPOINTING ANDREW SEAL TO SEAT 3 AND APPOINTING REID OLSON TO
SEAT 4 OF THE MERIDIAN PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS , the Meridian City Code 2-1-1 establishes the Meridian Planning and
Zoning Commission, its members and terms of their appointments; and
WHEREAS, Rhonda McCarvel was appointed to Seat 1 on the Meridian Planning and
Zoning Commission by Resolution No. 14-1014 on September 16, 2014 with a term to expire
January 31, 2019; and
WHEREAS, Seats 3 and 4 of the Meridian Planning and Zoning Commission are
currently vacant; and
WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Meridian deems the re-appointment of
Rhonda McCarvel to Seat 1 of the Planning & Zoning Commission to be in the best interest of
the Meridian Planning and Zoning Commission and of the City of Meridian; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Meridian deems the appointment of Andrew
Seal to Seat 3 and the appointment of Reid Olson to Seat 4 of the Planning & Zoning
Commission to be in the best interest of the Meridian Planning and Zoning Commission and of
the City of Meridian
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN CITY, IDAHO:
Section 1. That pursuant to Meridian City Code § 2-1-1, Rhonda McCarvel is hereby
reappointed to Seat 1 and Andrew Seal is hereby appointed to Seat 3 and of the Meridian
Planning and Zoning Commission, with terms to expire January 31, 2022.
Section 2. That pursuant to Meridian City Code § 2-1-1, Reid Olson is hereby appointed
to Seat 4 of the Meridian Planning and Zoning Commission, with a term to expire January 31,
2021.
Section 3. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its
adoption and approval.
