Dear Planning Staff,
Platform is pleased to submit the above referenced project to the City of Meridian for a change in use to the
existing tenant space at 830 N. Main (former Meridian Cycles) for the proposed AR Workshop.
The subject property is on the ground floor of the Generation Park Plaza II building at the corner of Main St. and
Pine Ave. The property is within the O -T zoning district. Meridian Cycles recently relocated and the proposed
tenant, AR Workshop is looking to lease approximately 1734 sf of the existing 2567 sf space. The remaining 833
sf will be vacant until a tenant is identified.
AR Workshop is a DIY boutique offering hands on workshops for individuals and provides complimentary items
for retail purposes. (Letter from Tenant is attached) We understand this type of use falls under the "Arts,
Entertainment and Recreation Facilities" per Meridian UDC 11-4-3-2, and is a permitted use within the O -T
district. We have reviewed the Specific Use standards and believe we are in compliance.
We respectfully request your approval of the Certificate of Zoning Compliance for Change in Use applications.
