BY THE CITY COUNCIL: BERNT, BORTON, CAVENER,
MILAM, PALMER, LITTLE ROBERTS
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MERIDIAN, ESTABLISHING THE APPOINTMENT OF KEITH BIRD TO SEAT 3 OF
THE MERIDIAN BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the Meridian City Code § 2-8-1 establishes the Board of Adjustment, its
members and terms of their appointments; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council for the City of Meridian wish to appoint Keith
Bird to Seat 2 of the Meridian Board of Adjustment with a term to expire September 30, 2021;
and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council of the City of Meridian deems the appointment
of Keith Bird to Seat 3 of the Board of Adjustment to be in the best interest of the City of
Meridian;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN CITY, IDAHO:
Section 1. That, pursuant to Meridian City Code § 2-8-3, Keith Bird is hereby appointed to
Seat 3 of Meridian Board of Adjustment with a term to expire September 30, 2021;
Section 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its
adoption and approval.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Meridian, Idaho, this 25th day of September,
2018.
