Broadway Ave, Suite 102 Meridian, Idaho 83642 Re: Certificate of Zoning Compliance Application / Design Review Application Hallmark Homes Office Building, Meridian, Idaho Dear Sir or Madam, 499 Main Street Boise, Idaho 83702 (208) 343-2931 www.taoidaho.com Please accept our application for Certificate of Zoning Compliance and for Administrative Design Review for Hallmark Homes Office Building, located at 1895 N. Lakes Pl., Meridian, Idaho 83646. The proposed office building is in an existing office park subdivision: Fairview Lakes, Devon Park Subdivision No. 3. All right-of-way improvements have been completed with right -of way landscaping and sidewalk. The office subdivision has been completed and the common area incudes asphalt parking lot with accessible parking, access sidewalks, trash enclosures, perimeter landscaping and pressurized irrigation system. Site utilities have been installed and stubbed to the building lot and include water, sewer, power, gas, communications and irrigation. Architectural Summary The proposed office building will be a single -story wood framed building with 6:12 sloped asphalt shingle roof (charcoal), painted hardboard eaves (dark gray), prefinished metal soffits (light gray), stucco wall finish (light warm gray), stucco accent trims (medium warm gray) and stone/brick wainscot veneer (dark gray / charcoal). Two identical building entries will be provided with recessed aluminum storefront entry (dark bronze) and are covered with projected gabled canopies with stone column wall accents. Windows will be vinyl framed with clear glass. The architectural style utilizes traditional forms with sloped shed roof with hipped ends, gabled entry canopies, extended eaves / fascia and stone wainscot. The building is finished with a contemporary color scheme. We feel that the proposed office building project will meet and exceed the City of Meridian's design review requirements. Please feel free to contact me by phone: (208) 343-2931 ext. 5 or by email: matt@taoidaho.com if there needs to be any clarifications or if additional items need to be submitted.
