Dear Mr. Parsons:
On behalf of Brinegar Investments LLLP, please accept this request for a two (2) year Time
Extension for the above reference Earl Glen Subdivision Preliminary Plat and Conditional Use
Permit for the property located at 1780 E. McMillan Road.
The original approval for the Earl Glen Preliminary Plat and Conditional Use Permit was in 2015.
Approved at the same time was a Development Agreement (recorded under Instrument Number
2016-021940) and a rezone (RZ-15-009). A one (1) year time extension was granted by the City of
Meridian on July 17, 2017, and will expire on September 6, 2017.
A neighborhood meeting was held on July 28, 2018, and a Pre -Application conference with City
staff took place on August 10, 2018.
The applicant owns, in addition to the subject, additional parcels to the north of the site. Multiple
offers to purchase the site have been received by the applicant and they are determining what the
best use of the property is moving forward with one of the options to combine this site with the
parcel, or parcels to the north. The purpose of the time extension is to allow the applicant to
analyze the development options available.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you need additional materials of have questions regarding
this application. The applicant would appreciate a favorable vote by the Planning & Zoning
Commission and the Meridian City Council.
Best regards,
