RE: H-2018-0057 Annexation & Rezone 2075 & 2155 W. Franklin Road
Dear Commission:
Regarding the staff report for project H-2018-0057 for the annexation and zoning of the
property located at 2075 & 2155 W. Franklin Road in Meridian, please accept the following
discussion on the proposed conditions of approval for the application. Proposed Condition of
Approval 1.1.1e. states “All of the existing buildings on the site shall be removed and any
existing business located on the property shall cease immediately upon annexation.” The
applicant intends to keep the two existing houses on the property as rental income until the
property develops as commercial. One of the dwellings has an existing lawn-mower repair
business that is also intended to remain.
Therefore, the applicant would like to request that this condition be removed from the
recommended conditions of approval. All other proposed conditions of approval are
acceptable to the applicant at this time.
