RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PUBLICATION OF AN ESTIMATE OF THE EXPENSES
FOR ALL PURPOSES FOR THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO, FOR
THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING THE IST DAY OF JANUARY, 1972, AND ENDING
THE 31ST DAY OF DECEMBER, 1972, AND GIVING NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PRIOR TO PASSAGEOF THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATION BILL.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO:
Section 1. That the following classified estimate of the
probable amount of money necessary to be raised for all purposes
in the City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, for the fiscal year
beginning the 1st day of January, 1972, and ending the 31st day
of December, 1972, be published in the Valley News -Times, a weekly
newspaper published in the City of Meridian, for two publications
beginning with the issue of March 9th and 16th, and the Notice of
Public Hearing on said estimate and probable levy required to raise
said sum be published therewith.
Section 2. That a statement of the entire revenue of the
City of Meridian for the previous fiscal year is as follows:

Section 5. Notice is hereby given that the estimated expenses
and appropriation therefor as herein set forth will require a levy
for general reserve and municipal purposes for the City of
Meridian of not to exceed 33' mills on the dollar, and in
compliance with Section 50-1003, Idaho Code, the Mayor and the
City Council will hold a public hearing on March 20, 1972 at
7i'30 P.M., at which time any person interested may appear and
protest such proposed estimate and levy prior to passage of an
annual appropriation bill.
PASSED by the City Council and approved by the Mayor of the
City of Meridian, this 6th day of March, 1972.
