CC - ITD September 28, 2017 C.Jay Coles Meridian City Clerk’s Office 33 East Idaho Avenue Meridian, Idaho 83642 VIA EMAIL RE: H-2017-0127 HILL’S CENTURY FARM SUBDIVISION NO. 8 The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) has reviewed the referenced final plat application by Brighton Investments, LLC to consisting of 29 building lots and 5 common lots for the Hill’s Century Farm Subdivision No. 8 on a parcel located east of SH-69 milepoint 6.72. ITD has the following comments: 1. This project does not abut the State highway system. 2. The City is reminded that the I-84/ Eagle Rd interchange is already congested. This project will increase the number of vehicle trips on the interchange. ITD has no current funding assigned to mitigate traffic congestion on the I-84/Eagle Rd interchange. 3. IDAPA 39.03.60 governs advertising along the State highway system. The applicant may contact Justin Pond, Program Manager for ITD’s Headquarters Right-of-Way Section at 334-8832 for more information. 4. Idaho Code 40-1910 does not allow advertising within the right-of-way of any State highway. 5. ITD does not object to the construction of a subdivision on the parcel.
