PZ - Memo by Planning 2.5 Street MemoJuly 14, 2017 MEMORANDUM TO: Planning and Zoning Commission FROM: Josh Beach, Associate Planner CC: Bill Nary, City Clerk RE: 2.5 Street Townhomes – H-2017-0066 Since the Planning & Zoning Commission hearing on June 22, 2017, the applicant has submitted a revised site plan (attached) as required by the Planning and Zoning Commission. The revised plans depict the additional off-street parking that was requested by the Planning and Zoning Commission. The original site plan showed 51 single-family homes, each with a 2-car garage and an additional 9 off-street parking stalls on the site. The commission encouraged the applicant to provide some additional off-street parking on the site and moved to continue the project so that the applicant could modify the site plan to accommodate additional parking. The revised site plan contains a total of fifty (50) residential lots with two car garages and twenty (20) off-street parking spaces. This is in contrast to the fifty one (51) lots and nine (9) spaces that were originally proposed.
