We have read the staff report and have the following comments or clarifications:
1.1.2 –
• The property management office and the maintenance area is located within the clubhouse. Please see the
attached floor plan for exact location. The mailbox and directory map locations will be designated with the CZC
and DR applications.
• Old Thorn Lane will be relocated to allow for construction; not protected and preserved. Please see access
exhibit.
1.1.3 –
• A detailed open space exhibit will be submitted with the CZC application.
1.1.4 –
• Attached are elevations for the clubhouse. The poolhouse floor plan is attached; elevations for the poolhouse
will be very similar to the clubhouse in style and materials. More detailed drawings will be submitted with the
CZC and DR applications.
• The carports will be pre-finished metal, single pole, flat sloped roof in a light tan color. Attached is a sample
picture. More detailed drawings will be submitted with the CZC and DR applications.
2.1.1 – Installation of a RPV at the western edge of the project does not seem applicable due to the fact the project is
blow the pressure-zone boundary which will be established by an off-site RPV located above the canal along Overland.
We look forward to discussing later today at the PZ hearing.

Attached is the staff report for the proposed conditional use permit for Southridge Apartments H-2017-0077.
This item is scheduled to be on the Commission agenda on 7/6/2017. The public hearing will be held at City
Hall, 33 E. Broadway Avenue, beginning at 6:00 pm. Please call or e-mail with any questions.
