RE: Healthy Living Sub SHP H-2017-0076 and Healthy Living Condominiums SHP H-2017-0075
Application Narrative
Dear Ms. Allen:
On behalf of the Boise Family YMCA (YMCA), we are requesting a continuance of the public hearing scheduled
on July 5 for the Healthy Living Subdivision SHP H-2017-0076 and Healthy Living Condominiums SHP H-2017-
0075. The continuance is requested to resolve the following items:
1. These applications hinge on the completion of a property boundary adjustment with the school
district (PBA A-2017-0093). Verification has been requested from the building department verifying
that the original plan review for the building plan by state addressed code issues regarding the
location of the property relative to the structure. Ed Daniels with Hummel architects is currently
working the state and city to resolve this item.
2. ACHD raised concerns that the right-of-way dedication completed with the YMCA project for the
frontage along Hillsdale (formerly Howry) was not accepted by the county assessor. It appears that
the assessor is requiring the right-of-way dedication to also be signed by the life estate that impacts a
portion of this property. This is scheduled to be signed on July 5th.
We believe these items will be resolved expeditiously and ask to be moved to the planning zoning hearing on
July 19th.
Sincerely,

Kelly,
Sam needs additional info from Arlan to verify that we can issue approval of the PBA and associated short plat (condo)
application; he’s communicating with him about that. Also, we still verification from ACHD that all of the adjacent ROW
for the other short plat has been dedicated.
Please submit a request for continuance in order to work through these things (include the reason for continuance in
your request).
