A geotechnical evaluation for the project site was performed by GeoTek, Inc., with subsurface soil
information summarized in their report dated March 14, 2017. According to the report, groundwater was
not encountered during excavation, but high groundwater could be anticipated at depths from
approximately 15 -ft to 30 -ft below the existing ground surface. Based on the information provided in the
geotechnical report, the roadway finish grade centerline elevations were designed to be more than 3 -ft
above the anticipated groundwater elevations.
