Clerk – After speaking with ACHD and the applicant, we’ve agreed that nothing will be gained by holding this hearing up
at the City for ACHD action. The applicant is required to comply with ACHD conditions of approval regardless and
possible changes that were discussed pertained to obtaining additional right-of-way from the property owner to the
west for the expansion of Rumple Lane/Harris as a public street access via S. Meridian Rd. ACHD’s draft report is
contained in the staff report. Please keep this item on the June 6 th City Council hearing.

Sonya,
Would it be possible to continue with June 4 where the council approval would be contingent on ACHD approval?
We really need your help if at all possible as we are running out of time to get it constructed this year. We have also
met all the applicable requirements from ACHD as mentioned by ACHD own legal counsel.
Thanks for anything you can do to help us!!!

Hi Kristi,
I just heard from Austin at ACHD that their Commission continued this project to their June 21 st meeting
due to concern regarding access to SH 69 and desire from Rumple Lane to be extended. We will need
ACHD’s final report before we can send this to Council for a public hearing. Please submit a request for
continuance to the June 27 th meeting.
Thanks,
