PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT / NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to the Ordinances of the City of
Meridian and the Laws of the State of Idaho, that the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of
Meridian will hold a public hearing at the Meridian City Hall, 33 East Broadway Avenue, Meridian, Idaho, at
the hour of 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 4, 2017 for the purpose of reviewing and considering the
application H-2017-0044 by City of Meridian, Planning Division for Text Amendment to the Unified
Development Code (UDC) as follows:
To Amend certain sections of the UDC pertaining to definitions; allowed uses in all districts; specific
use standards (home occupation and retail store, wine and beer sales and servings); surety agreements
AND establish new definitions and regulations to allow the operation of food and beverage products
processing, minor in the commercial, industrial and traditional neighborhood zoning districts for 2017 UDC
Text Amendment.
More particular descriptions of the above information are on file in the Planning Department, 33 East
Broadway Avenue, Meridian, Idaho and are available for inspection during regular business hours, Monday
through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Copies of the above applications are available upon request. Any and all interested persons shall be
heard at said public hearing, and the public is welcome and invited to submit testimony. Oral testimony may
be limited to three (3) minutes per person. Written materials may be submitted seven (7) days prior to the
above hearing date so that all interested parties may examine them prior to the hearing. All materials
presented at public meetings shall become property of the City of Meridian. Anyone desiring

at 888-4433 at least 72 hours prior to the public meeting.
