6. Old Business
A. Residential Recycling Program -
(1) CRFP Fund Balance (KG)
The CRFP balance is $8,298.27.
(2) Hand in Hand We Recycle- Status Report — 2"a load; timing of container re-
configuration; marketing update (RK)
The Program has returned $74 to the CRFP to date.
(3) CRFP- SWAC/MAC Bench Project- Update (SC)

All Materials presented at public meetings shall become property of the City of Meridian.

please contact the City Clerk's Office at 888-4433 at least 48 hours prior to the public meeting.
SC attended the 10/13/16 MAC meeting. They received the idea well. Expressed interest in
asking Parks Dept if they'd be interested in participating. Each bench costs $1500. SWAC
should bring back a specific proposal to MAC. Commissioner VM offered to assist with this
project.
7. New Business
A. Ada County SWAC-update (CC)
CC attended the meeting on SC's behalf. She reported that there was an expressed high level of
concern about contamination by herbicides in compost program and what can be done about it.
B. SWAC Drafted Annual Report -Discussion
Drafted Report approved with caveat that AP can tweak it with updated financial figures and
any actions by Council affecting SWAC up to and including 11/30/2016 (day before deadline to
submit report)
C. November Special Meeting -Discussion whether or not needed
No meetings will be held in November.
