Re: Ada County 911 Call Center
Dear Sir or Madam,
Keller Associates, Inc., as an authorized agent of Ada County, is hereby submitting an amendment to
the original CZC application for the new 911 Emergency services Dispatch and Data Center building
located at 963 E. Pine Ave. Meridian, Idaho. The original CZC application was submitted in May of
2015.
The new facility consists of a 25,000-square foot building and associated site improvements. During
final acceptance of the building by the City of Meridian, concern was expressed by the fire
department about access to the site during emergencies. This amendment is to revise the existing
drive approach to accommodate the fire departments request.
The proposed site revision will include a wider approach onto the private road, Stonehenge Drive.
The additional width of the approach will be mitigated by the addition of a concrete island to separate
the ingress and egress drive isles. The revised drive approach will require the removal or relocation
of some landscaping as shown in the attached landscaping plan. All other site and building
improvements as originally designed, including fencing, will not be affected by the revamped drive
approach.
The work is anticipated to take place during the spring of 2017 and be completed prior to the County
occupying the building in April of 2017.
