Meeting of the Meridian Planning and Zoning Commission of November 3, 2016,
was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Chairman Steven Yearsley.
Members Present: Chairman Steven Yearsley, Commissioner Rhonda McCarvel
and Commissioner Ryan Fitzgerald.
Members Absent: Commissioner Gregory Wilson.
Others Present: C.Jay Coles, Andrea Pogue, Bill Parsons, and Dean Willis.

Yearsley: Okay. Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. At this time we would
like to call to order the regularly scheduled meeting of the Meridian Planning and
Zoning Commission for the hearing date of November 3rd, 2016, and let's begin
with the staff report -- or, sorry, roll call.
Item 2: Adoption of the Agenda
Yearsley: Thank you. Next item on the agenda is the adoption of the agenda
and we have a couple of changes on the agenda , so Action Items A, B and C
have been requested to be continued. Action Item A, which is the 34th North
Subdivision, is being requested to be continued to the November 17th,
commission meeting. Application B, which is the Bannock Ridge application is
being requested to go to the November 17th meeting and , then, the public
hearing for the Firenze Plaza, Action Item C, is being requested to go to -- be
continued to the December 15th meeting and the reason for that one is ACHD is
planning to hear that application on December 7th and so we want to get their
recommendations before we come to our Planning and Zoning meeting. So, at
this time it is proposed that we won't have any items -- action items for tonight.
With that can I get a motion to adopt the agenda as amended .

McCarvel: Second.

Zoning Commission Meeting
Yearsley: Next item on the agenda is the Consent Agenda and on that one we
have to approve the minutes of the October 20th, 2016, Planning and Zoning
Commission meeting. Could I get a motion to approve the Consent Agenda?
McCarvel: So moved.
Fitzgerald: Second.
Yearsley: I have a motion and a second to approve the Consent Agenda. All in
favor say aye. Opposed? Motion carries.

Item 4: Action Items
A. Public Hearing Continued from 10/6/16 for 43-North
Subdivision (H-2016-0090) by KGA Development, LLC
Located at 1318 NE 4th Street
1. Request: Preliminary Plat Consisting of 22
Building Lots and One (1) Common Lot on 1.81
Acres of Land in the R15 Zoning District
Yearsley: So, we are going to open the first one, which is public hearing file
number H-2016-0090, 34th North Subdivision, for the sole purpose of continuing
it to November 17th, 2016. Can I get a motion?
McCarvel: Mr. Chairman?
Yearsley: Commissioner McCarvel.
McCarvel: I move to continue H-2016-0090 to November 17th.
Fitzgerald: Second.
Yearsley: I have a motion and a second to continue file number H-2016-0090.

1. Request: Annexation and Zoning of 9.42 Acres of
Land with an R-4 Zoning District
2. Request: Preliminary Plat Approval Consisting of
Thirty-Five (35) Building Lots and Four (4)
Common Lots on 13.57 Acres of Land in an R-4
Zoning District
Yearsley: Next one is file number H-2016-0113 and that is Bannock Ridge to be
continued to November 17th.
Fitzgerald: Mr. Chairman?
Yearsley: Commissioner Fitzgerald.
Fitzgerald: I would move that we continue H-2016-0113, Bannock Ridge, to the
date of November 17th, 2016.
