NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Meridian Parks and Recreation
Commission will hold a Special Meeting /Workshop at City Council Chamber,
Meridian City Hall, 33 East Idaho Avenue, Meridian, Idaho on Wednesday,
November 14, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. Discussion by the Meridian Parks and
Recreation Commission will include the following:
Workshop Discussion by Josh Grant, AspireOn (5 min.)
Breakout sessions by subcommittees: Recreation & Special
Events Committee, Park Amenities & Signage Committee,
and Community Liaison Committee
Reconvene; discuss results and next steps (15 min.)
The public is welcome to attend.

Statement of Purpose and Authority: The Parks and Recreation Commission for
the City of Meridian is a volunteer citizen's group that is created and empowered to
advise the city on issues relating to the park facilities and recreation programs of the
City. Their mission is to gather input from staff and other qualified personnel on issues
relating to the creation and design of public parks and open spaces; to listen to public
input; and to provide advice and recommendations on parks and recreation related
matters to the Mayor and City Council.
