2006-07-06 IMPACT FEE ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING THURSDAY July 6, 2006 AT 10:00AM Meridian City Attorney's Office 703 N. Main Street, Meridian, Idaho former Farmers and Merchants State Bank Statement of Purpose and Authority: The development impact fee advisory committee is established to assist the city in adopting and updating the impact fee program. In this role, the committee shall assist in adopting and revising land use assumptions, review the capital improvements plan, monitor the implementation of capital improvements funded by impact fees, and report any perceived inequities in implementing the impact fee program. The development impact fee advisory committee's recommendations and the City Council's action are intended to ensure that the impact fee program remains efficient, that the benefits to a fee paying development are equitable, in that the impact fees charged do not exceed a proportionate share of the costs of system improvements. REVIEW OF BBC RESEARCH & CONSULTING TEAM REVISED DRAFT REPORT: Study Team will present revised draft report containing land use assumptions, capital improvement plans, and maximum allowable fee schedules for Parks, Fire and Police impact fees with modifications based on discussions at June 8, 2006 Impact Fee Advisory committee meeting and written comments from the committee members. III. QUESTIONS FROM IMPACT FEE COMMITTEE: Study Team will discuss any questions/comments from committee members. IV. FUTURE TOPICS: Discuss open house presentations and public hearings. V.
