2006-03-22• • CITY OF MERIDIAN IMPACT FEE ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING WEDNESDAY, MARCH 22, 2006 AT 1:OOPM Meridian City Hall Council Chambers 33 East Idaho Avenue, Meridian, Idaho Statement of Purpose and Authority: The development impact fee advisory committee is established to assist the City in adopting and updating the impact fee program. In this role, the committee shall assist in adopting and revising land use assumptions, review the capital improvements plan, monitor the implementation of capital improvements funded by impact fees, and report any perceived inequities in implementing the impact fee program. The development impact fee advisory committee's recommendations and the City Council's action are intended to ensure that the impact fee program remains efficient, that the benefits to a fee paying development are equitable, in that the impact fees charged do not exceed a proportionate share of the costs of system improvements. KICK-OFF OF IMPACT FEE PROJECT: The Consulting Team from BBC Research & Consulting will discuss the project to update the parks impact fee and consider new impact fees for fire and police infrastructure IV. FINANCIAL REPORT: Reta Cunningham will provide an update on the impact fee fund balance. V. FUTURE TOPICS: VI.
