Adoption of the Agenda: Motion made to adopt the agenda and continued Item 4 December 11, 2014 by Dr. T. Hammond; seconded by Dr. F. Thomason. All ayes — agenda adopted — No further discussion. Approval of the September 11, 2014, and October 9, 2014 Meeting Minutes: Motion made to approve the minutes by Dr. F. Thomason; seconded by Dr. T. Hammond. All ayes —minutes approved— No further discussion. 4. Approval of the Monthly Financial Statement: Continued to December 11, 2014 5. Historical Society and History Center Update by Lila Hill: Robbie Robinson presented. A copy of the written report is on file. 6. Old Business a. Professional Development Class Update by Commissioner Nesbit: Continued to December 11, 2014 b. Approval of the Annual Report: Motion made to approve the report as presented by Dr. T. Hammond; seconded by J. Walters. All ayes — 2014 Annual Report approved — No further discussion. Establishing an Old Town Development District Update: Discussed. Jacy Jones will contact TAG and SHPO to open conversations for a future meeting. 7. New Business a. Discussion on Walking Tour Field Trips: Jacy Jones will provide schedule of the spring tours at next meeting so Commissioners may attend or volunteer. b. National Trust for Historic Preservation Conference Update by Chairman Johnston: Presented. Copy of conference materials on file in the Clerk's Office. Commissioner Johnston will make contact with the Mayor's Office and Community Development Department to discuss goals and will have a report for the December meeting. 8. Discussion of Upcoming Projects for 2015 and Public Outreach: Commissioner Garvey presented Santa Monica Pier as an example to the Commission as an idea of the type of special use district the Commission could establish. 9. Next Meeting: Thursday, December 11, 2014 a. Discussion of Possible Meeting Topics Invitation to Planning Department and SHPO for Historic District Establishment MOTION MADE TO ADJOURN BY DR. F.
