Re Lot 20 Block 1 Devon Park 43
Design Review Letter:
Devon Park is an existing subdivision located off Fairview Ave. The subdivision is almost
completely built out with just a few remaining vacant lots. The entire site has already been
approved through the previous Design Review process, which included all civil engineering,
drainage plans, all landscaping, overall site design, and other items associated to the leftover
pads remaining. Our building is very .similar to the other structures that have been approved
through the design review process. In the past I built several other buildings in Devon Park.
Specifically, internal roads and abundant parking spaces currently exist, plus curbs, and
sidewalks around pad currently exist. Utilities stubs have been located and all exist, and are
marked on plans. Entry to each unit will be connected to the existing sidewalk.
This new building will be similar in color, design, and materials used on the existing
buildings in the subdivision.
Architectural Elements:
Building will be built with a hip roof system, and roofed with similar roofing as other
buildings in the subdivision, plus the addition of High Profile Ridge Shingles.
Entrances to each unit will be finished with a combination of Stucco, Stone, and
"Fiberesin'exterior siding panels to create a clean and natural feeling when entering.
Windows will be an Anderson "FibreV series with a black exterior finish to blend with
the anodized aluminum storefront, entry systems.
Mechanical will be shielded from view by landscaping indicated on landscaping plan.
Color and Materials:
We will be using similar colors as the existing buildings, thus creating a cohesive
appearance throughout the complex. The well composed mixture of stone, two tone stucco,
and the new product called "Fiberesin" will give this building a very quality look, which
should complement the Meridian office market.

i
Building design should address building scale, .mass, form, and use a
variety of materials and architectural features, ensure a n aesthetic
contribution compatible with surrounding buildings.
Maintain consistent and contiguous pedestrian environments
across developments, Limit circuitous connections and maintain
clear visibility.
Provide pedestrian connections to non -private public spaces.
Incorporate architectural features on all sides of a building
facade facing: the primary entrance(s) of an adjacent building,
public roadways, interior site amenities, and facades that are
visible from public spaces, See Architectural Elements, Building
Form, and Materials sections.
Buildings must orient, frame, and/or direct pedestrian views to
adjacent cultural buildings, parks, and plazas.
Design and orient buildings not to impede access. The build-
ing should enhance the appeal of open spaceand pedestrian
environments
Design building fagades to express architectural character and
incorporate the use of design principles to unify developments and
buildings, and relate to adjacent and surrounding uses.
Comply and adhere with all previously required building design
elements that were included as part of a Development Agree-.
ment, Conditional Use Permit, and/or other requirements as
part of prior approval.
