According to the report, groundwater was not observed in any of their test pits ranging in depth from 8' to 15' below the existing ground surface at the time of the field investigation on December 17, 2015. Groundwater monitoring was again conducted on May 26, 2016, at groundwater monitoring wells 3 and 4 and no groundwater was observed. Based on the information provided in the geotechnical report, the roadway finish grade centerline elevations would be more than 3-ft above the anticipated groundwater elevation.
