BY THE CITY COUNCIL: BIRD, BORTON, CAVENER,
LITTLE ROBERTS, MILAM, AND PALMER
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MERIDIAN, APPOINTING ROB McCARVEL TO SEAT 2, REAPPOINTING KEITH
BIRD TO SEAT 6, AND APPOINTING RICK RITTER TO SEAT 7 OF THE MERIDIAN
DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Idaho Code section 50-2704, Meridian City Code section 1-13-4
charges the full City Council with appointment of members to the Board of the Meridian
Development Corporation; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council find that it is in the best interest of the people of
Meridian to appoint Rob McCarvel to Seat 2 of the Meridian Development Corporation;
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council find that it is in the best interest of the people of
Meridian to reappoint Keith Bird to Seat 6 of the Meridian Development Corporation;
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council find that it is in the best interest of the people of
Meridian to appoint Rick Ritter to Seat 7 of the Meridian Development Corporation;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN CITY, IDAHO:
Section 1. That Rob McCarvel is hereby appointed to Seat 2 of the Meridian Development
Corporation for a term to run from September 1, 2016 through August 31, 2019;
Section 2. That Keith Bird is hereby reappointed to Seat 6 of the Meridian Development
Corporation for a term to run from September 1, 2016 through August 31, 2019;
Section 3. That Rick Ritter is hereby appointed to Seat 7 of the Meridian Development
Corporation for a teen to run from September 1, 2016 through August 31, 2019;
Section 4. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its
adoption and approval.
