Adoption of the Agenda  Agenda amended – item #3 Fire Department Region I Discussion (Mark N.) moved to last, Fire Station tour to follow. 3. Fire Department Region I Discussion (Mark N.) 4. Comparison of Impact Fees within the Region (Todd L.)  Todd Lavoie of the City provided a comparison between Meridian and other Cities. Results show Meridian Impact Fees is lower than of neighboring cites. Chief Niemeyer explains no Police impact fees are collect by City of Eagle due to contract with Ada County and no Fire impact fee due to Fire District.  Comparison of Impact Fees will be updated and presented to committee annually. 5. Report Card on How the BBC Projections are Doing (Todd L.)  It was requested that documents be provided to the committee prior to meeting, so that members have a chance to review.  Todd Lavoie of the City presented Meridian actual results compared to BBC projections. Overall, results shows Meridian’s actuals are higher than of BBC projections.  Discussions were had on the frequency of impact fee schedule update, changing from 4-5 year to 2 years.  Comments were made rather or not to use 3rd party/consultant to perform next impact fee study. Question was asked if the City have internal resources to develop impact fee schedule study. Fire Department Region I Discussion (Mark N.)  Chief Niemeyer of the City provided an overview of the joint agency discussions between the City and our surrounding Fire departments. Mark informed the committee that he and his fellow Fire Chiefs are looking at ways to consolidate service costs amongst the different agencies. Joint agreements will have an impact on how the Cities fund future station and apparatus expansion. 7.
