This is a formal request for deferral of the final plat of Isola Creek No. 4 (Item 8E) and The Bellano Creek Neighborhood
Park Design and Naming Request (Item 9B). We respectfully request the City Council defer both items to the June 28 th
City Council hear ing agenda. There are issues concerning the conditions as requested by Meridian Parks Department and
an outstanding issue with Nampa-Meridian Irrigation District. A letter was sent to Mike Barton at the Meridian Parks
Department by NMID on June 10, 2016, outlining safety concerns. NMID has questions and concerns on the treatment
of the Creason Lateral within the proposed City Park. Greg Curtis, the Water Superintendent at NMID, would like to
address his safety concerns with the Mayor and City Council.
Please defer both items to the June 28 th City Council agenda, allowing the applicant and NMID to discuss our concerns
with the Mayor and Council.

Attached is the staff report for the proposed final plat for Isola Creek #4. This item is scheduled to be on
the Council agenda on June 7, 2016. The public hearing will be held at City Hall, 33 E. Broadway Avenue,
beginning at 6:00 pm. Please call or e-mail with any questions.
Becky - Please submit a written response to the staff report to the City Clerk’s
office( mhill@meridiancity.org , jjones@meridiancity.org , cway@meridiancity.org ) and myself (e-mail or fax)
by 3:00 pm the Thursday prior to the meeting.
If you are in agreement with the conditions of approval contained in the staff report and you submit a
written response accordingly by Thursday at 3:00 pm, your item will be placed on the consent agenda;
consent agenda items are passed in one motion by the Council at the beginning of the meeting. Note: If you
are in agreement with the staff report, it is still recommended you attend the meeting in the event the
item is pulled off of the consent agenda.
If you do not respond to the staff report by Thursday, or if you have concerns with the conditions of
approval, your project will be placed on the regular agenda.
