Value engineering
Scale back drainage inside the fence and on the Northern end of the new parking to 20% of current capacity.
Order additional soils reports, Insight has committed to this.
Differentiate
between hardscape and landscape sidewalks, engineer appropriate sections.
Remove sidewalk across berm and sidewalk between large and small dog areas.
Remove artificial turf, replace
with gravel.

Value engineering
Change gravel section to 8” depth (or 12” depth) of 3/8 chip and no filter fabric. MB to provide specification from ID Sand and Gravel.
Eliminate backstop netting. Move northern most
fence to 35” away from existing softball field fence. Chang that northern most fence to 6’ vinyl clad chain link.
Change dog park fencing – 6’ to 5’ and 5’ to 4’ except northern most
fences, solid fence between property lines and fence between park and the Speedway.
Study shifting the restroom south along with the large dog entry gate and how that shift can be accomplished
and still keep the tree.

Evaluate the need to remove the existing 6” irrigation main.
Existing parking remodel is a bid alternate.
Eliminate two 10x10 picnic shelters.
Evaluate depth of import soil for planting.
Evaluate
plant size and quantities.
Sod vs. seed outside of dog park enclosure.
MB to meet with Bruce Taylor and significantly alter irrigation layout.
