Handed out Brochures Spoke to public Had a sign up sheet 35 families expressed interest Followed up via e-mail 2 Late Spring Start 3 We planted… 4 Cabbage (red/ green) Broccoli Cauliflower Cucumbers (Armenian, lemon, straight eight) Tomatoes (slicers/paste) Green Beans (purple/ roma) Peppers (hot/sweet) Eggplant (3 types) Fennel Summer Squash (zucchini, patty pan) Winter Squash (spaghetti, acorn, butternut) Sweet Corn Leeks Melons (watermelon/ cantaloupe) 5 Growing time! We weeded And weeded 6 We had 15 families that participated the whole year! Plus many volunteers who helped us with harvest and cleanup! And it grew And GREW! 7 We had great success and shared with the Meridian Food Bank!
