HISTORY
Formed as the successor organization to Boise River Trail Foundation in September 1998.
F.A.C.T.S. took on the prospect of a high priority extension of 3.2 mile gap on south side/south
channel Boise River.
F.A.C.T.S., obtained an R.T.P. grant for $ 103,000 in October 2010 for non paved 10 to 12 foot tread Three-Cities Pathway.
R.T.P. grant extended to June 30, 2012
and grant increase of $15,450 (15.0%) approved in January 2012.
Match of $31,050 exceeded requirement and represents the benefit of private and public co-operation.
F.A.C.T.S stands for Foundation For Ada-Canyon Trail Systems.

Organization
Officers are elected annually and consist of President/Chairman, Vice-President and Secretary/Treasurer. Currently serving are Judy Peavey-Derr, president; Commissioner David Ferdinand,
vice-president and Sharon Hubler, secretary.
Article III, Section II, prescribes no fewer than three directors and provides for an increase. Directors currently serving are Jeanne Barker,
William F. Gigray III, Nancy Merrill and Don Stockton.

Greenways are an adaptive urban landscape evolving to include trail-oriented recreational facilities along rivers, streams and abandoned rail lines, usually built in segments, which
offer water quality protection, flood hazard reduction and beautification of neglected and abused areas.
