16-1141 Ten Mile Road Urban Renewal PlanCITY OF MERIDIAN BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION Resolution No [ � — ` 1 1 I FITZGERALD, McCARVEL, OLIVER, WILSON, YEARSLEY A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION RELATING TO THE URBAN RENEWAL PLAN FOR THE TEN MILE ROAD URBAN RENEWAL PROJECT OF THE MERIDIAN DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION; FINDING THAT THE URBAN RENEWAL PLAN IS IN CONFORMANCE WITH THE CITY OF MERIDIAN COMPREHENSIVE PLAN; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Meridian Development Corporation, the duly constituted and authorized urban renewal agency for the City of Meridian, Idaho (hereinafter, "Agency") has submitted a proposed urban renewal plan entitled "Urban Renewal Plan for the Ten Mile Road Urban Renewal Project" (the "Plan") to the City of Meridian; and, WHEREAS, the City Council has referred the Plan to the Meridian Planning and Zoning Commission for review and recommendation concerning the conformity of said Plan with the City of Meridian Comprehensive Plan; and, WHEREAS, the Meridian Planning and Zoning Commission met on May 19, 2016 to consider the Plan and determine its conformity to the Comprehensive Plan; and, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, IDAHO: Section 1. That the Urban Renewal Plan submitted by the Meridian Development Corporation and referred to this Commission by the City Council for review, is in all respects in conformity with the Comprehensive Plan. Section 2. That City Staff is hereby authorized and directed to provide the Meridian City Council with a signed copy of this Resolution relating to the Plan. Section 3.
