TO
TEMPORARY LICENSE AND MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT
(Sports Fields at 915 East Central Drive — Jabil Subdivision)
Whereas, This addendum, made this day of February, 2013 to the Temporary
License and Maintenance Agreement executed between the City of Meridian (CITY) and
Central Street Joint Venture (CENTRAL) dated July 12, 2005 (AGREEMENT); and,
WHEREAS, CITY and CENTRAL have been cooperating to provide recreational
opportunities on certain real property owned by CENTRAL located at 915 E. Central
Drive in Meridian; and
WHEREAS, CITY and CENTRAL desire to expand the types of recreational uses
allowed under the AGREEMENT.
NOW THEREFORE, the AGREEMENT shall be modified in the following particulars:
Section 3 of the agreement shall be repealed and replaced with the following:
USE OF LICENSED PREMISES
City's use of the licensed premises shall be for the purpose of making the fields
available for practice and games by organized sports organizations and the
general public. Additional allowed uses shall include all activities typically
allowed in a City Park. To facilitate these approved uses, City shall be the
designated contact for scheduling the use of the fields. The existing signs
declaring the property to be in the ownership of Central shall remain, but City
shall be required to prepare and post at its expense a weatherproof applique to
each sign declaring the City as the contact for scheduling of field use and
providing the appropriate City telephone contact information. The use of the
parking lot shall be allowed as an incidental use associated with the allowed uses.
No other use of the fields or parking shall be allowed unless otherwise approved
in writing by Central.
All other terms of the AGREEMENT shall remain the same.
